Dynacolor Graphics to Join Franklin Communications Team!
Donald Duncanson, President of Dynacolor Graphics, Inc and Peter Dunne, President of Franklin Communications, LLC, both in Miami, Florida announced today the merger of Dynacolor’s business operations with Franklin effective June 1st, 2009. Dynacolor Graphics will become a division of Franklin, with Don Duncanson serving as President of the division.
The Duncanson and Dunne families have been competitive friends for many years. Franklin is the oldest printer in Miami, founded in 1921. Together the two companies have 125 years experience in graphic communications.
“We’re extremely excited about joining with Franklin.” said Don Duncanson . “We can now offer a much wider array of marketing solutions to our customers.”
Franklin will add many capabilities for Dynacolor Graphics- sheetfed and non-heatset web presses, two state of the art Xerox iGen3 digital presses (the largest capacity in Miami), variable data printing, perfect binding, and wire-o-binding. Franklin has a state of the art mailing and fulfillment distribution facility including the latest mailing software, hi-speed inkjet addressing, automated tabbers, inserters, shrinkwrapping and poly bagging.
The two companies will combine their technically advanced prepress departments. Most exciting of all are Franklin’s digital printing capabilities, that will permit us to offer our customers multiple versions of products, with faster turnarounds of smaller quantities at very attractive prices.
Franklin has won many awards over the years including The Printing Industries of America “Best Workplace in America “ for 2008, and 4 Golden Flamingos from the Printing Association of Florida for winning the most print awards for each of the past 4 years. In addition for all of you sports fans, they are the printers for the Florida Marlins, Miami Heat, and the Miami Dolphins, America’s favorite teams!
Dynacolor will move it’s business operations to the Franklin facility in Miami effective June 1, 2009. All of your Dynacolor contacts will be with the new company, Don, Harry, Brenda, Casey, Craig, Rodger, Zully and Ira. Emails and phone numbers are the same, except you’ll need to add a “1” in front of the previous extension number you have for your contact. Example, Brenda was 333 and now will be 1333.

In order to expedite our move, we will be closed on Friday, May 29th at 2 pm and Monday June 1, 2009. We will be open for business and returning your calls and emails on Tuesday, June 2, 2009.
